SUMMARY:Advancing Diagnostic Precision in Breast Imaging
DESCRIPTION:GENERAL COURSE DESCRIPTION\nThis accredited CME activity provides a structured\, case-based learning experience focused on improving early breast cancer detection through imaging–pathology correlation. \n  \nThe program consists of four 30-minute enduring modules followed by a 30-minute live virtual Q&A session. Participants will review diagnostic challenges in mammography and ultrasound with emphasis on interpretive accuracy\, evaluation of calcifications without mass\, and differentiation of benign and malignant morphologic patterns. \n  \nThe enduring modules are delivered asynchronously through the iiCME Learning Platform. The live Q&A session provides an opportunity for interactive discussion and clarification of key concepts. \nInstructional Objectives — upon completion of this activity\, participants should be able to: \n\n\n\nDescribe the site of origin of breast cancers and its implications for early detection.\nApply principles of imaging–pathology correlation to mammography and ultrasound cases.\nEvaluate calcifications without associated mass using structured interpretive frameworks.\nDifferentiate benign and malignant morphologic patterns based on radiologic criteria.\n\n\n\n  \nTarget Audience \nThis course is intended for\, Radiologists\, Breast imaging specialists\, Diagnostic imaging physicians\, Radiology fellows and trainees \n  \nACCREDITATION & CREDIT DESIGNATION\nAccreditation \nThe International Institute for Continuing Medical Education\, Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. \nDesignation \nThe International Institute for Continuing Medical Education\, Inc. designates this activity for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. \nPhysicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. \n  \nEducational Format & Time Allocation \nTotal Educational Time: 2.5 hours \n\n2.0 hours — Enduring modules (four 30-minute sessions)\n0.5 hours — Live virtual Q&A\n\n \n\n  \nEVENT CALENDAR\nThis activity will be available on demand beginning March 6\, 2026\, with enduring access through March 6\, 2027. \nA live virtual Q&A session with Dr. László Tabár will take place on March 26\, 2026 at 10:00 AM Central Time. \nAll educational content and the live session will be delivered online through the iiCME Learning Platform (AltusCampus). \nRegistration information and other details will be sent post registration. \n\nREGISTRATION\nRegistration for this activity is open. \nEnrollment is complimentary and available at no cost.
