SUMMARY:Georgia Radiological Society 2022 Legislative and Educational Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Georgia Radiological Society Legislative and Educational Meeting will include presentations reviewing neuroradiology\, breast imaging\, and abdominal imaging topics as well as legislative updates. \n\nEducational Objectives\n\n\nReview illustrative cases covering a spectrum of basic and challenging breast disease.\nDiscuss practical tips to guard against common pitfalls.\nDiscuss the indications and benefits of radiotherapy in patients with breast cancer.\nProvide guiding principles for radiotherapy treatment planning.\nDemonstrate how diagnostic imaging plays a pivotal role in radiotherapy field design.\nDiscuss Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and Radiology.\nReview distribution of Radiology AI Solutions.\nDescribe MR imaging findings of focal and diffuse biliary disease.\nDescribe the role of MRCP in the workup of patients with suspected choledocholithiasis.\nDescribe the role of MR imaging in the evaluation of patients with suspected bile leak.\nReview the imaging appearance of common and uncommon pathologies involving the pediatric spine.\nPractice choosing communications of diagnostic imaging findings which are aligned with ACR practice parameters.\n\n\nTarget Audience\nThis course is intended for radiologists\, radiation oncologists\, medical physicists\, nuclear medicine physicians\, and associated members-in-training in Georgia. \nCOVID Statement\nThe GRS requires that all in-person meeting attendees be “up to date” per CDC guidelines with the COVID-19 vaccination(s) or have a negative COVID test result within 48 hours of meeting attendance.
