The 2021 meeting will feature amongst other topics specific focus sessions on brain and spine imaging\, head and neck imaging\, brain\, AI in practice\, therapeutic interventions\, and acute stroke imaging. \nThe abstract deadline has been EXTENDED to October 1\, 2021!\nPlease submit your abstract to the following link: wnrsabstracts@iicme.net \nLetter From the President\n \nDear Friends\, Colleagues\, and WNRS Society Supporters: \nIt gives me great pleasure to invite one and all to attend the WNRS 53rd Annual meeting to be held at the Peppermill Resort in Reno\, Nevada from Thursday October 7 through Sunday October 10\, 2021. \nPresident-elect Jennifer Becker\, BMBS\, MRCS\, FRCR has put together an excellent program that is a balanced combination of educational activities\, social events and networking opportunities. With focus sessions covering multiple topics in neuroradiology including practical AI and therapeutic interventions\, the program offers an in depth review of topics to interest and engage all who practice neuroradiology. \nThe faculty and moderators for the 2021 meeting include speakers from all across the geographic boundaries of the society\, and span upcoming talented junior faculty to internationally established renowned neuroradiologists. There will also be a Game show to help us relax and refresh ourselves after absorbing all the educational material! \nApart from CME- and SAM-accredited content\, we encourage everyone to submit scientific abstracts and case reports that will be presented during dedicated Oral presentations sessions. Residents and fellows are the future of our society and we strongly urge mentors to help them through this process and also welcome them to become involved with our Society. \nWhile the past year and a half has not been easy for many of us\, on both a personal level and professionally\, the gradual opening of the country gives me hope that we will be able to renew our societal relationships in person again this year.
