Course Description

This enduring material blends the newest innovations in breast imaging with time-honored traditional breast imaging modalities and procedures. Special attention will be given to Tomosynthesis and Breast MR, as well as Whole Breast Ultrasound. The contentious issues of Breast Density Legislation and Screening Guidelines will also be addressed.

Educational Objectives

After viewing this enduring material, you should be able to:
• Review the basic principles of screening and diagnostic mammography
• Outline the current applications of breast ultrasound in diagnostic, screening, and interventional settings
• Describe the major aspects of breast MR, including imaging techniques and current indications
• Discuss the current medical and legal concerns regarding the missed breast cancer
• Delineate current and future applications of breast tomosynthesis
• Appreciate the importance of operational issues in the success of a breast imaging practice, especially regarding billing and coding, and risk management.

Target Audience

This course is intended for all radiologists with a special interest in Breast Imaging. The faculty is comprised of nationally recognized expert teachers of Breast Imaging with a broad breadth of experience and knowledge in this field.

Evaluation Method

Each CME activity includes a post assessment CME Quiz and course evaluation to determine that the learning objectives have been met and that the activity was of educational value to the target audience and was unbiased. The evaluation also assesses whether or not the CME activity resulted in a change in physician practice behavior and offers participants a method of feedback.

Return Policy

Unlike physical goods, electronically distributed software can be easily duplicated. Accordingly, it is our policy that once we have distributed software to a customer, the sale is final, and you may not return the software for a refund or credit.

Defective Software

Defective software will be exchanged within 30 days of receipt of merchandise (the date carrier lists the package as received) with the same title and subject to availability.

Cancellations
