Course Description
This course is designed as a state-of-the-art imaging review of case material that affects the brain, spine, and head and neck. The internationally known faculty has chosen subject material that emphasizes their approach to solving clinically relevant problems involving these areas. Whether an experienced radiologist or one newly introduced to this material, this course will improve your ability to analyze CT and MR images and to offer a pertinent differential diagnosis.
Educational Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
• State the essential anatomy necessary to arrive at a diagnosis of the diseases of the central nervous system and head and neck.
• Integrate the imaging of complex neuroradiology and head and neck problems into a “clinical practice.”
• Develop differential diagnoses that relate to the pertinent imaging and clinically relevant findings of diseases that affect these areas.
• Integrate information presented in the course into efforts to improve their imaging skills.
Target Audience
This program is designed for general radiologists and neuroradiologists. Neurologists, neurosurgeons, and otolaryngologists may also find the program beneficial as could allied health care professionals who desire an update on recent imaging advances and the use of imaging as an aid to clinical patient management for diseases of the brain, spine, and head and neck.
