Course Description
This activity will review basic concepts of musculoskeletal imaging, but also introduce cutting edge techniques such as neurography. Content includes imaging of athletes, presented by internationally renowned radiologists who care for the professional athletes in Philadelphia and beyond. We will also review bone and soft tissue tumors and interventional techniques with practical tips that you can implement in your practice. Our goal is to update your knowledge of musculoskeletal imaging and intervention, improving confidence and accuracy at the workstation.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity the attendee will:
- Understand imaging findings associated with common injuries of the musculoskeletal system
- Have improved knowledge regarding bone and soft tissue tumors
- Be able to incorporate techniques to optimize MR imaging quality
- Know the wide variety of advanced interventional techniques currently applied to the musculoskeletal system
