Welcome to our First Live Streaming Activity!
This course is designed for radiologists who find themselves challenged by the new practical issues of performing successful high-quality breast imaging in a changing medical environment. The integration of new breast imaging technologies with the traditional ones is the focus of a world-class faculty, even in these challenging times.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
By the end of this activity, registrants will be able to:
- Apply new and improved skills in perception to the interpretation of screening mammograms.
- Develop strategies to counter the attacks on the performance of regular screening mammography in women beginning at age 40, especially those at high risk for breast cancer.
- Perform a more comprehensive evaluation of screening-detected abnormalities, including appropriate use of special mammographic views, ultrasound, MR, and other modalities.
- Appraise the current status of interventional breast procedures, especially core biopsy.
- Delineate the expanding role of Breast MR in everyday practice of breast imaging, including its role in screening high-risk patients, and the new role of abbreviated breast MR.
- Appreciate the role of Whole Breast Ultrasound and Contrast Enhanced Mammography in breast cancer screening.
- Discern the burgeoning role of breast ultrasound as a screening and diagnostic tool.
- Understand the value of breast density in helping to establish breast cancer risk on imaging.
