Breast Imaging 2020

March 12, 2020 @ 8:00 am - March 15, 2020 @ 5:00 pm

$595 – $850

This course blends the newest innovations in breast imaging with time-honored traditional breast imaging modalities and procedures. Special attention will be given to Tomosynthesis and Breast MR, as well as Whole Breast Ultrasound. The contentious issues of Breast Density Legislation and Screening Guidelines will also be addressed.

NEW THIS YEAR

Thursday, the first day of the course, will be a tomosynthesis workstation-based workshop, featuring the new high definition synthesized 2D images.

There will be three separate 75 minute workshops, all identical. Each one will be preceded by an introductory lecture, and then 12 people will be able to sit at individual workstations and review 25 cases featuring the new high resolution tomosynthesis and new high resolution synthesized 2D images. Each case will be accompanied by an answer sheet which will allow for the attendees to get immediate feedback on that case as they proceed through the cases.

Individuals MUST sign up for one of the three groups available on Thursday morning. There are only 12 slots in each workshop, and these will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. When you register for the course, also send an email to us at iicmemail@gmail.com and indicate which Workshop Group you prefer (1/2/3 – see Thursday’s schedule). You should give us your first and second choice. If you choose not to participate in the workshop, please call or send us an email indicating this as well, the day you sign up. If you do not email us on the day you register for the meeting with your group preference, we will assign you to a workshop. We will try to accommodate everyone’s choice, although we cannot promise this in advance. The sooner you sign up, the more likely you will be to get the time slot you want.
