Course Description

The Georgia Radiological Society Legislative and Educational Meeting will include presentations reviewing neuroradiology, breast imaging, and abdominal imaging topics as well as legislative updates.

Educational Objectives

  • Review illustrative cases covering a spectrum of basic and challenging breast disease.
  • Discuss practical tips to guard against common pitfalls.
  • Discuss the indications and benefits of radiotherapy in patients with breast cancer.
  • Provide guiding principles for radiotherapy treatment planning.
  • Demonstrate how diagnostic imaging plays a pivotal role in radiotherapy field design.
  • Discuss Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and Radiology.
  • Review distribution of Radiology AI Solutions.
  • Describe MR imaging findings of focal and diffuse biliary disease.
  • Describe the role of MRCP in the workup of patients with suspected choledocholithiasis.
  • Describe the role of MR imaging in the evaluation of patients with suspected bile leak.
  • Review the imaging appearance of common and uncommon pathologies involving the pediatric spine.
  • Practice choosing communications of diagnostic imaging findings which are aligned with ACR practice parameters.

Target Audience

This course is intended for radiologists, radiation oncologists, medical physicists, nuclear medicine physicians, and associated members-in-training in Georgia.

Cancellations received in writing by May 24, 2022, will receive a refund minus a $75 handling fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after that time.
