Course Description

Course Description

This course is designed for neuroradiologists, general radiologists, and clinicians who have an interest in imaging of the brain, spine, and head and neck. The case material shown will include a wide spectrum of the diseases that affect these areas. The specific utilization of CT, MRI, MRS, perfusion-diffusion and permeability imaging in the investigation of these diseases will be discussed. In each section, the imaging protocols, anatomy, pathology, and the clinically relevant differential diagnoses will be reviewed. This course will improve the participant’s ability to analyze CT and MR images, to offer a pertinent differential diagnosis, and to be familiar with the newest technologies applied to these regions.

  • Develop a differential diagnosis for each area that relates to the pertinent imaging and clinically relevant findings.
  • Review the application of the newest imaging techniques to these areas.
  • Improve the imaging skills of all of the course participants.
