Course Description
This 3-day course in Hilton Head, S.C. offers a review of the many facets of MSK radiology, from the essentials in MSK ultrasound to the state-of-the-art in MRI. The speakers bring unique perspectives from 4 different major academic institutions, where they are actively engaged in both teaching and research. The course runs from Monday morning through Wednesday afternoon, September 10-12, 2018, and will provide 16.0 hours of CME.
Educational Objectives
- To enhance participants’ understanding of some of the most common degenerative and traumatic pathologies affecting the upper and lower extremities
- To improve participants’ skills in diagnostic and procedural ultrasound via didactic and hands-on training sessions.
- To provide participants’ insight into the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges in the realm of bone and soft tissue tumors.
- To develop participants’ ability to tailor MSK MRI protocols to address specific clinical concerns
Target Audience
This course is intended for Radiologists, Orthopaedic Surgeons, and other Clinicians involved in caring for patients with Musculoskeletal disorders.
