Course Description
This 4 day course, 4 hours per day, will be divided into 30 minutes segments in which key topics in neuroradiology and head/neck radiology will be presented in a case driven format. Using an audience response system, registrants will actively participate in answering questions related to the challenging imaging material. It is anticipated that in each 30 minute segment, approximately 7 cases will be shown and 2 to 3 questions will be presented for each case.
Educational Objectives
- Develop an understanding of the crucial elements of a diagnostic report in brain, spine, and head / neck imaging.
- Understand the basic underlying anatomy which allows a complete analysis of neuroradiology imaging.
- Assure proper techniques and protocols in MR and CT.
- Correlate pathology with the anatomic and clinical findings.
Target Audience
This course is intended for academic and community radiologists with a particular interest in neuroradiology and head and neck radiology, Residents and fellows preparing for ABR examinations with case presentation format, and Neurologists whose practice involves interpretation of neuroradiology images.
